Vaishali is a yoga instructor and the founder of Yoga 4 Rest of Us and a mother of two teenage boys. She is on a mission to change the face of yoga and make it approachable to the everyday person. Her smile is absolutely contagious, her spirit is radiant and loving and her positive energy is a true gift.
She is on a mission to make yoga accessible, inclusive, and non-intimidating to anyone that wants to try it. By integrating the ancient wisdom of yoga with the scientific understanding of our body and mind in today’s world, she brings tools for sustainable self-care, well-being, and joy to all.
Vaishali came to me for her brand and website design and since we met I have been fascinated by her story and inspired by her passion for yoga. Her approach to yoga is unique and refreshing. She always makes sure that her clients feel confident and empowered to do what is best for their bodies. You do not have to be a master yogi to practice yoga. Vaishali can show you that yoga is for everyone!

What is the one thing you do for yourself every day? and the one thing you do for business?
A good cup of coffee and a few minutes on my mat every day is what I do for myself. I study/learn something new every day so I can serve my students better – this is what I do for my business.
Please share a story about a client that really moved or inspired you?
I have a client who is a full-time working mom of three young kids under the age of 6. She had difficult pregnancies and lost strength and stamina, something she is still recovering from. She was brave enough to make time and motivate herself to get stronger and get out of her comfort zone to take care of herself. From the very private first yoga session, she moved me with her hard work, dedication, and trust. She shows up positively for herself every time and her belief that she can get stronger inspire me to be a better teacher! She is already seeing results and exceeding her own expectations!
What did you stop doing to make time for your business?
I stopped listening to negative self-talk. I also stopped cooking elaborate meals and having super high standards for myself in everything. I stopped caring about what others think of me and that gave me tons of mental and physical time!
Work-life balance is the dream of every entrepreneur .. what do you do to keep your balance?
Over the years, I have learned a lot of life skills that make work-life balance possible. A few of the things that have worked – sharing responsibilities and chores with my partner based on our skills/strengths, planning meals and kids’ activities in advance, simplifying cooking, making household chores more efficient, working smarter and delegating, saying ‘no’ and lowering expectations where possible, having fun every step of the way.

“Mom, will you please watch my kids when I grow up and I’m busy with work?”

Yoga is for everyone and is a holistic, sustainable way to take care of yourself. Yoga4restofus meets each student where they are and takes them further on their journey of wellbeing and joy.
What is your favorite service in your portfolio?
I can’t choose one! Private lessons and corporate stress relief workshops are very fulfilling for me but then group classes are so much fun!
What are the goals for 2021 for Yoga 4 Rest of Us?
To keep growing and continue making an impact on individual and corporate clients.
What is the next idea you are working on?
